This leads to Orochimaru saying he can only have one or the other to stay: Honzo or Anji, and they must fight to the death to decide who stays. Needless to say, they both agree to those terms due to a deep rivalry that borders hatred that they'ved developed for each other. Honzo beats Anji..after Anji meets Naruto breifly right after Zabuza Arc end and flees..meanwhile at same time as that, Honzo is sent on a borderline suicidal mission by Oro to attack a strong village and WINS..then when Honzo returns... Honzo betrays Oro and fights Orochimaru's elite and kills 4 of them while injuring Kimmimaro but is forced to retreat
