Bells can be attached to Shinobi weapons to use as a destraction, however some Sound Shinobi use it to create a sound based Genjutsu, and a Waterfall Shinobi called Raiza used its sound properties coupled with a Water Seal to give it ear-drum harming properties, of which the effects vary.
